Josh Roudebush started in the Paranormal Community at the age of 14. He started surfing the Internet hoping to find someone to help him, he found Brian Liel from Missouri Ghost Hunters Society (www.ghosthaunting.com). After e-mails and phone conversations, Josh and 2 other friends, started researching local hauntings in his hometown and the surrounding areas. In 1997, the Haunted Nevada, Mo website hit the Internet, at that time there were only about 60 paranormal groups active. When Josh was about 17, his group had grown to about 8 people; they started getting many calls from others who had experienced similar things so they started Southwest Missouri Paranormal Research.
Josh has made a name for himself in the paranormal world, only 25, and he has more experience than some 20 year veterans in the paranormal field. At the age of 20, Josh met with Steven LaChance while researching the Union Haunting after he had moved to Kansas City. Josh and Steven remain close friends to this day.
Josh became the Kansas City area admin for Missouri Paranormal Research (www.catchmyghost.com) and Josh’s group became Missouri Paranormal Research, Kansas City. In 2007, Josh and friends, Wes and Rob, started Kansas City Paranormal Research, now they are one of the premier paranormal groups in the area.
Josh has made many friends in the paranormal community. His life long dream to meet John Zaffis came true at the Arkansas Ghost Hunters Conference in Eureka Springs March 2006. He went on an investigation at the Crescent Hotel with him as well. Josh participated in over 300 cases dealing with paranormal in his young life. He has been dubbed “the Young Gun of Paranormal” by some of his friends in the field. Now Josh works with many groups across the United States, aiding then in solving cases sometimes working with some of the top names in the paranormal field.
His primary focus in researching the paranormal is not to prove the existence of spirits, but is helping the family's that are involved in extreme cases.
