- Members shall discuss investigation leads with group leaders and research managers but the person who has a relationship established with the prospective lead can initiate contact to discuss the possible investigation, as long as the above stated are kept informed of the status. The date chosen should revolve around what’s best for the client, and we will work around them to the best of our abilities.
- At all times during investigations, and anytime APRA members are representing the group in any capacity; members must maintain a professional attitude and demeanor.
- APRA members will keep current on group activities and investigations by frequently visiting the APRA website, message board, and checking their email.
- Respect our team members and also other paranormal groups and their members. We will frequently do joint investigations and are NOT in competition with anyone. Don’t bring personal issues to an investigation or meeting.
- There may be times when the media will be involved in interviewing members or in an investigation. All members of APRA must sign a Standard Release form and Liability Waver to consent to the possibility that their names or likeness may be utilized for the purpose of APRA promotion.
- Any data and/or information (including but not limited to photos, videos, and audio) obtained on an officially sanctioned APRA investigation are co-property of the individual investigator and APRA. In the event of members leaving APRA, all materials shall remain co-property. Any materials which former members gathered while active members of APRA may be used by APRA as the group sees fit.
- Before reacting negatively to an email, please write the person in question back and inquire as to the tone of the email and verify the true meaning. Misunderstandings cause unnecessary drama and conflict.
