Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome!

Arkansas Paranormal Research Association (APRA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in central Arkansas. APRA is a paranormal investigation team made up of diverse individuals who all share a common fascination with the paranormal world. We conduct paranormal research and investigate using scientific methods but are careful to remain open-minded as we realize science cannot yet explain every great mystery on Earth. Our first objective, however, will be to find a scientific or explainable reason for unexplained phenomenon.

There are many names for the kind of work we do: paranormal investigators, ghost hunters, ghost busters, etc. APRA performs investigations for individuals or businesses who request our help, and we offer any additional assistance we can to people dealing with the paranormal.

We will travel pretty much anywhere in the Mid South, and APRA will never charge a fee for any of our services.

What is Important to Us

Our Goals

As a group, APRA has many goals. We strive to push ourselves with new endeavors, but some of our core goals remain the same:

  • We want to assist the public with paranormal matters in any way we can.
  • We seek to find and document evidence of the unknown, which includes alleged hauntings, unidentified flying objects, and cryptozoology.
  • We want to educate the public in any paranormal matter using our available resources, including sharing our research results. Education plays a significant role in APRA's mission.
  • We hope to open people's minds to explore other possibilities that may exist in our world.

Our Reasons

Each of us has our own personal reasons for working with APRA. But for every one of us, our need for answers drives our pursuit of knowledge and our desire to assist and educate others in this field.

A Team Approach

Our members all work as a team; we work closely together to meet our goals on all group activities. We hope this approach will set an example and help us achieve our goal of more unity in the paranormal field.

Our Lives Outside of APRA

This is our hobby. We all have other interests, hobbies and career paths. While we all love to investigate, we are careful to balance this with what's most important in our lives: family. Therefore, we typically do not schedule over one investigation per month, unless we are requested to help someone. Our meetings are often held around a dinner table to include our families as much as possible.

Have you ever wondered:

  • Are orbs real?
  • What is electronic voice phenomenon (EVP)?
  • What is a spirit, poltergeist, ghost, entity, or apparition? The spirit of a dead person?
  • What happens after death? Does that explain ghosts?
  • Could I have a haunted house?
  • How can a paranormal investigator help me with a haunting?

If you've ever wondered about the paranormal, please explore our site. We don't just focus on our own beliefs, we offer alternative explanations. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
